vBPortal Hacked

Apparently within the past 24 hours vBPortal (http://www.vbportal.com/) has been hacked. :eek:

Details of the hack and it's ramifications on the vBPortal community are not yet known. If you use vBPortal you may want to keep an eye on things for a bit.

A discussion of this hack, including information by some of the vBPortal principals, is taking place on vBulletin.com HERE (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=193067).

Apparently it was an extortion attempt... the hackers wanted $20K USD and when turned down they then exploited a PHP passthru() feature to hack the site.
