What's your background? How did you get into making styles for vB?

Hi Bryan,
Well I guess the question is for me, lol.
I had many forums back in the day, but they were phpBB, IPB, and Proboards. I had a knack for skinning them, I really enjoyed changing skins every few months. :D
Pete was a friend and noticed this and suggested we make a site to sell skins, we decided vbulletin would be the biggest seller as it seems so many use it. phpbb already has tons of free skins and I think IPB does, we figured this would be a good market to put my skills to work.
We've had a good go at it thus far, I really enjoy it.
Thanks for asking, it's nice when people show an interest in your work.

Well, your skins are very nice and I appreciate the work!
There are so few decent skins available at a reasonable price for vB now, especially since the upgrade to 3.5.3. :) It's nice to find some LOL

That's good! :)
Do you use something like Beyond Compare to compare the templates?

I don't use anything, I didn't know there's anything but I am sure it would help. I never even heard of that.
I just realized that 2HyperLogic is displaying the online status indicator twice!!

LOL at least you caught it... :)
Beyond Compare (and there is another called Araxis Merge) lets you compare two text files side by side, so you can copy the contents of different versions of a template in two separate text files and it will compare them side by side.
It will color code and line up changes, and you can click a little right or left arrow to move stuff from one file over to another... handy for the type of work you're into LOL
