Good afternoon. :) A banner would just depend upon what size banner and where you'd like to place it. The header on xRobot is pretty graphic intensive so your best bets would be most likely above or below the navbar or in the footer.

Changing the colors would require knowledge of Photoshop (or similar program) that would you allow you to do a bulk change to the graphic hues.

It looks like you and/or friend is familiar with modifying graphics so it'd just be a matter of modifying the 'header.jpg' after purchasing & downloading a copy of the package.

For a XBox related site, have you taken a look at ClubX 360 yet?

it is more of a halo 2 style forum and I like this skin the best so I will choose this one. Newayz so all I have to do is find the part in the skin that says header.jpg and then replace it with the new header i hosted and put the link there instead of header.jpg?

Correct. When you unzip the zip package there'll be a file named "header.jpg" that contains the very top part of the header. Just edit that image with your overlay like in the example you gave and then uploaded your modified version to your server.
