Google addsense

I have google addsense on my accont, and was wondering how to stop it showing charity adverts in VB and advanced VB, do I need to tell it its in a frame or is there a special way to do it so it dosnt show charity adverts, or do I need to wait longer for it to crawl my site?, does vb have it so it tells spiders not to crawl, I am annoyed that i am showing 100% charity adverts I got code with the option for frames turned of should I say frame?

On the page where you create your ads (https://www.google.com/adsense/code) scroll down a bit to where it says "Alternate ad URL or color optional"....To replace public service ads, enter a URL for alternate ads or select a color code here. have had two google addsense accounts before and it took them like 5 mins to serve paying adverts, but never an account using a forum, before both times was with static html pages, so I dont know if its just for the forum or what

I was worried I would get charity adds all the time, plus right now the site has very few content lol

As Sneaky said, based upon the site it can take a few days before the real ads start showing.

If you want to use your own ads intead of the charity ads in the interim you can change it at the spot I mentioned above. What that'll do is display your own ad of your choosing instead of a charity ad if Adsense hasn't indexed the page yet. For a couple of my sites that were doing the same thing (of displaying charity ads longer than the first day or so) I changed it so that it would display ads to my other sites.

Lsgworldl, do you mean me? I run several different sites with two primary ones (CinVin and a sci-fi site) taking most of my time & resources but I don't have ads on either one but I do on a few of the other smaller sites.

just curious to see them ;)Well, some aren't ready for prime time, some are small information type sites, some are for others... the only two that I'm really 'putting out there' to the general public is CinVin (of course :p) and Cool SciFi (http://www.coolscifi.com) which is a sci-fi & fantasy community that has existed for a number of years now.
